Karen Holik

Karen is an eight-time AKC/USA World Team Member, a four-time National Champion at the United States Dog Agility World Championships, and a Silver Medalist at the prestigious FCI World Agility Championships. She has also been a Finalist at National Events here in the United States with each of her dogs (past and present) over the past 15 years. Karen began participating in dog agility in 1992 when she started training her Chow/Sheltie mix, Simon. She loves training dogs of all motivation levels. Her success with many breeds demonstrates her effectiveness. She believes that all dogs can be taught to run to their full potential and agility should be a team sport and fun for the dog at all times. She believes the most important aspects of agility training are teaching the fundamentals and being consistent with your handling at all times. Karen currently owns 4 dogs (two Shelties and two Border Collies). She teaches private/group lessons and classes in Brandon, Florida. She also travels the United States, as well as Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Mexico and Costa Rica, giving seminars.

Jenn Crank

Jennifer began training and showing dogs at the age of five. She competed on obedience with her mother’s retired obedience sheltie, which then lead her into the sport of agility. At the age of seven she earned her first agility title with the family sheltie, Lacey. In 1993 Jenn got her first sheltie, Skittles, and earned her first MACH with her. Skittles was bred and produced Guess and Splash (owned by her mother). Both dogs have gone on to multiple MACHs. Jenn and Guess were also chosen three times to the AKC World Team and represented the United States in the Agility World Championships in 2004, 2006 and 2007. Guess and Jenn were individual silver medalist in 2006 and individual bronze medalist in 2007. In May 2009 Jenn made the AKC world team with her sheltie, Blaster. After competing in Austria in September 2009 she came home with a Medium Team Silver Medal. Jenn and Blaster were also part of the 2011 WAO team traveling to England in May 2011 where they were gold medalist in the Individual Biathlon and silver medalist in the Games Championship. Jenn has also competed in AKC and USDAA national championships with numerous achievements including: 2nd place AKC Nationals in 2005, 2-time Performance Versatility Pairs National Champion, 2009 USDAA DAM Team Nation Champion, and a finalist in multiple events with 5 different dogs.

She has an excellent eye and is able to pinpoint simple training exercises for handlers to work on at home to improve coursework. Mary Ellen has been involved in dog training for 17 years. She's earned an ADCH with 4 border collies, Zoe, Fizz, E-Z and Maizy. Mary Ellen has competed at the National level for many years and Internationally she has competed 3 times: 2006 and 2008 IFCS teams with Fizz and 2011 WAO Team with Maizy.
